Photography and the Art of Possibility
Chris Harris has explored and captured the grandeur of the natural world, and shared it with the rest of us, as few other photographers have done. In this image, music, and narrative presentation, Chris will take you on two distinct journeys.
The first, titled Emerging Landscapes, will take you into the remote, majestic, and largely unknown Coast mountains. There, at the base of two retreating glaciers where human and planetary experiences meet, a modern-day origin story is unfolding, filled with energies and stories that animate the world around us.
The second journey titled Photography and the Art of Possibility, will be into the artistic process of a person who seeks a challenge; whether in mountaineering and exploring new landscapes, or whether it is in the seeking of new frontiers in the world of creative expression. Chris believes that art transcends subject matter, and by reimagining reality rather than just replicating it, we
can express spirit rather than accuracy.
On this journey, you will travel with Chris as he takes his camera on unexplored paths of possibility. You will visit worlds you never knew existed.
