Each storm brought different light to Chilko Lake. Each time the lake changed completely. I eventually realized it was the sum of all my images that was the lake – not any one in particular – and that this is the energy that powers the whole Chilcotin Ark. It is concentrated here and flows out through the whole land, before roaring down the Fraser Canyon to the sea.
