Volcanic Cones. Itcha Mountains

Volcanic cones in the Itcha Mountains in the Chilcotin region of British Columbia Canada
Mt Fukawi is the farthest cone.
The snow patch is the source of the Chilcotin River
I had been here once before, but now I wanted to photograph it for my Motherstone book. It took 4 days of riding to get here. All I wanted was a dark ominous shy to evoke the feeling of what it might have been like when the volcanoes were erupting; creating this landscape. I got it. So lucky.
