Woodland Caribou

A small group of woodland caribou from the Itcha Ilgatchuz herd migrate across a melting snowfield on the edge of a climax grassland of northern rough fescue, an arctic grass at the southern limit of its range. I had a dream about these elusive animals. After I stopped fooling around with maps and followed the dream, I found them here in Ptarmigan Basin, right where the dream said they would be.
