Last week I visited Xatsull Village (I’m embarrassed to say) for the very first time. I asked permission to just crash there for the night in my truck so I could photograph through the night. There happened to be smoke in the evening sky; smoke that came from Siberia! This was the image I made at sunset. I’ll share another one I made later, one that I made during the wee hours of the night. But first, this is sunset. It’s a wonderful place to visit and there are all sorts of events happening throughout the summer. Look them up. It’s an award winning Heritage Village over looking the Fraser River, just north of Williams Lake.
