I have just returned from Silvertip Lodge which is beautifully situated in the Cariboo Mountains at the far eastern end of Quesnel Lake. Surrounded by the world’s only inland temperate rainforest, it is as they claim, “a luxury home in the wilderness”.
I was there this past week with a small group of fishers, and writers, exploring the photographic potential for operating a photographic workshop. The lodge is remote, rustic, and luxurious. It has every amenity imaginable.
From a photographic perspective, creative opportunities abound. Mountains, lake shore beaches, waterfalls, rainforests, access to alpine meadows, canoeing, and fly fishing all make for a visual feast.
I’ll be writing more about my Silvertip experience and sharing lots of imagery in upcoming Newsletters. Stayed tuned!!
