I crawled out of my tent at 4:30 am and and hiked two kms to a spot where I could watch the sunrise and the beginning of another beautiful day in the Cariboo Chilcotin region of British Columbia. This is the spectacular Bridge River Glacier which calves icebergs into a pro-glacial lake. Rita and I spent a few days here exploring this summer. At 6:05 when I made this image there was not a cloud, not a breath of wind, and not a soul in sight. Another transcendent moment in my life.
