Montreal Residency – Day 12

Yesterday was a special day, so I took the day off work and Rita and I went to Les Grands Ballets at the Place Des Arts, the largest cultural and artistic complex in Canada. The performance was Carmina Burana; the composer was Carl Orff (1895-1982) and the choreographer was Edward Clug. Carmina Burana, his latest creation for Les Grands Ballets, is a world premier. It was spectacular; a wonderful evening.

Before The performance began, I made this image to showcase the Salle Wilfred-Pelletier. It has a seating capacity of nearly 3,000 and every performance for two weeks is sold out.

I would love to have been there to physically feel the resonance of the music and the energy of the movement of the dancers. I am so glad Rita was able to get tickets so that you could enjoy being in that wonderful presence.
