Recently I visited the Horse Lake Community Farm Co-op (often referred to as CEEDS), a beautiful 133 acres of heritage farm property that produces delicious organic food for the 100 Mile House area. In the background are large areas of garden waiting to be planted.
Rita and I look forward to this time of the year when we can buy locally grown food, planted and cared for by friends who we actually know and respect. It’s a wonderful feeling to sit down to a meal of fresh locally grown food…it’s what powers my photography!
You can read all about CEEDS on their website, and you can visit their booth at the 100 Mile House Farmers Market, held every Friday morning.
See you at the market!
