When I am out exploring and photographing, I search for beauty in the landscape first, wildlife second; not the other way round. So as I paddled up Little Bridge Creek, I was taken by surprise when I looked over the bow of my canoe and saw a beaver swimming into view. As you can see, he had his eye on me!
Having switched to my telephoto lens, I saw his tail slowly begin to rise. I knew what was going to happen next!
Anticipating the big splash, I focused and awaited for the precise moment.
SPLASH!! So with this splash, I not only end this wonderful canoe journey up Little Bridge Creek, I am leaving this blog for about 9 or 10 days as I head out on an extended photo shoot. Enjoy, and have a great week!
