Deep within the Bella Coola valley, my evening meanderings led me through a lush and entangled rainforest and into the ancient ceremonial world of the Nuxalk Nations - a site with over 100 rock carvings. It is believed that the Chiefly, Noble and Supernatural Secret Societies stewarded this remote location. Here they kept their spirit power and dealt with supernatural matters. It was the mystical tranquility and powerful divinity of the site that I attempted to capture in the face of this primordial petroglyph.
