When photographing for my book Kamloops: British Columbia's Riverside City, I hiked up to Peterson Creek Falls in early spring while the water was still plentiful. Searching for a fresh perspective, I returned here eight times, and finally, with a 14 mm rectilinear lens, I was able to frame the falls in blackness, creating the illusion that I was in a cave.
