Each day at sunrise, the engineers of the Royal Hudson would polish the steel, prepare the engine and take it for a short test run. Against the rising sun it was an awesome spectacle - one that every rail fan in the world would love to witness.
Engine #2860 once steamed its way across Canada, but more recently it ran as one of the world's most spectacular tourist excursions, from Vancouver to Squamish along Howe Sound in British Columbia.
